With 16 years of experience in education, Laura is deeply passionate about teaching and dedicated to fostering a love of learning in her students. As a certified K-6 teacher with a Master’s in Psychology from Troy University, she has a strong understanding of diverse learning styles and the importance of creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
Beyond teaching, Laura is a published author and artist who believes in the power of creativity to engage and inspire. She is also a certified behavior analyst through the Florida Institute of Technology, allowing her to integrate evidence-based strategies to support students' behavioral and academic growth. Currently, she is in the process of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), further enhancing her expertise in student development.
As a mother of two boys, Laura understands the importance of balance, patience, and meeting the unique needs of every individual. She is committed to helping each student discover and take pride in their strengths while fostering a classroom environment where curiosity, respect, kindness, and self-expression are celebrated.
